About the programme
ReGreen to life mission: restoring the biological balance in the immediate environment
Our mission is to restore the Earth's biological balance through actions to protect, restore, and sustainably manage natural resources. The ReGreen to life program was born out of a need to care for the planet and a desire to be a tangible part of global change. We believe that by taking small, local initiatives, we can take care of the environment and support local communities to build a future where humanity lives in harmony with nature, respecting and nurturing our shared heritage.
What is ReGreen to life?
ReGreen to Life is an initiative that is geared towards environmental protection and restoration. Our program focuses on local action. We believe that small steps can lead to big changes, which is why we aim for our activities to gradually gain nationwide coverage. We started with the “Planting Forests“ campaign, but we also want to protect the environment through product care. This is why we have designed a special ECO line, which has the pursuit of sustainability in its DNA. Together, we can take care of the future of our planet by protecting what is most important to us. Why plant forests?
Trees are our natural allies, which is why forests are an extremely important part of the world around us. Poland's forests are still growing. The forest cover of the country has increased from 21 per cent in 1945 to 29.2 per cent today. The most common age range in our forests is between 40 and 80 years. The average age of a forest is 60 years. Since the end of the Second World War, their area has increased from 0.9 million ha to almost 1.85 million ha. As a company committed to sustainability, we want to go for more and continue this trend.
Action "We Plant Forests"
Nature itself can regenerate most optimally. By acting locally, 3mk is supporting the creation of forest ecosystems for future generations. Through the "Planting Forests" initiative, together with local forest districts, we are helping to permanently and irreversibly restore the biological balance in our immediate surroundings. Our first forest is already growing! The first action took place in April 2023. At that time, we planted as many as XX pine trees.
This year, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the State Forests, we are planning another forest planting event. Details will be available soon.
